Dear Jim and Karen,
Just a quick note to thank you both for the "western
hospitality" you served up on our recent visit! We
really loved your motel and wouldn't hesitate for one
second in recommending the Blue Gables to other
travelers. I loved the cabin we were in and it was a
wonderful place to touch down after our tour through the
Bighorns! And your prices were so reasonable too! I
can't wait to bring my wife next time and stay for a week or so.
Thank you once again.

Blue Gables was a very pleasant find on the road. Very
comfortable, reasonable and clean. I was just sorry that
we weren't staying more than one short night.
Sweet place, if we are ever in Buffalo again, we'll know
where to stay!

Blue Gables is the best place to stay in Buffalo! We
came through on our way back from Yellowstone, heading
to Mt. Rushmore. We had been camping and desperately
needed to do laundry! You provided us with great
facilities and a very comfortable place to stay for a
very affordable price. And, you're dog friendly! We
loved it! Thanks for keeping Blue Gables in such great
condition and for being so friendly and inviting! We
didn't feel like guests; we felt like friends.

Hi Karen and Jim!
I just wanted to thank you both again for providing
me with a wonderful place to stay! From the get
go, I felt at home in your motel. Jim, the weather
was just as you said, cold and drizzly, but I made it to
Rapid City before all hell broke loose with the rain.
I had a nice stop at Sturgis and now I am holed up in
Rapid City! No where near as nice as the Blue
Gables, but at least it's dry. I am praying that
the weather is at least halfway decent tomorrow so I can
go see the boys on the mountain and I especially want to
see that Crazy Horse memorial! Well, thanks again
for everything, and like I said I will make sure next
time I am in the vicinity, I will stay at your place.
Also I will make sure that my traveling friends know
about your place.

We had a nice stay in May seeing the snow covered peaks
in the bighorns.
Thanks to Jim and Karen for all the information about
the area, it was very
helpful. We are looking forward to our next trip to
Wyoming and we will be
sure to spend some time at Blue Gables.

Jim and Karen,
You are hopefully vacationing somewhere warm during
the off season - hope I remembered that right.
Anyway, we were really pleased with our stay this
past summer. It has been the little gems, like the
Blue Gables, found during our cross country trip
from Washington, NC to Seattle, WA that bring back
the fondest memories. We sure appreciate the
hospitality you showed us. Getting off the beatin'
path pays off!!! Attached is a shot of the
Wood Family at the Pactola Damn near Rushmore.
Take care

Your facility was a nice stop for our family on the
way home to Minnesota from Yellowstone National
Park. The kids loved the pool and Jim was full of
friendly conversation having lived in MN himself.
Thanks for a pleasant stay.

| Dear Jim and Karen, Thank you so much for a fun
weekend at your beautiful motel. It was so great to
see all of the love and care you have put into it. I
loved the pool and the fishing.

You must be the new owners. I
was there last summer and had a very nice stay. Good
luck with your business, I hope to be back soon, the
Big Horns were a big surprise to me!

We stayed at the Blue Gables last summer, were on our
Harley. Great place to stay, especially liked the safe
and secure parking areas. Enjoyed that darn dog of
Jim's that wanted us to throw the ball for him while we
sat outside and enjoyed the evenings. Great visit!

| Thank you Jim and Karen!!! I stayed at your motel in May
2004. A great place to stay. You said they are
cabins built around 1945, you wouldn't know it due to the
modernizing of the facilities. What a GREAT and
comfortable place. I remember asking Jim about a place to
go for dinner, he said if I were to go to the Virginian
restaurant in town (a regular place where they used to tie up
horses outside and shoot holes in the walls inside), it would be
a great experience. He was right. But the best time
I had in Buffalo, Wyoming was at the Blue Gables. Can't
wait to get there again. A great place to relax and forget
all the stress of life. Thanks for being there. Steve
